Playing around with my camera today, and found out that I can edit images on it! Learn something new everyday about that camera of mine. This one I just softened the image on the camera, so technically this is SOOC.

Love this perspective and bokeh effect that makes you focus on one small part of the photo. So beautiful.

This is one of my favorite dessert recipes and it's so easy to make!! And there's a good story behind there names: "Prom in a Bite" and "Brookies". I first made them for our after prom party, and they were such a hit with all my friends, so we called them Prom in a Bite! I also made them a lot at college with my friend Emily. My most fond memory is making them for our weekly 24 watching party. We called them Brookies which is a combination between brownies and cookies, which makes sense if you look at the recipe!

Prom in a Bite/Brookies

Recipe:

Ingredients:
Favorite Brownie Mix Recipe (and ingredients on box)
Favorite Cookie Mix recipe (and ingredients along with it)
Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350.
Make brownies according to box.
Pour into a greased 13x9 pan.
Make cookies according to recipe.
Put spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie layer, but leave some brownie showing.
Place in oven for 28-30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Heat up chocolate chips in plastic bag in microwave until melted.
Cut corner of plastic bag, and drizzle over the warm brookies when out of the oven.
Cool, cut, and serve!

Saturday, Laura and I traveled from Albany to Washington DC, a total of about 8 hours in the car. But it was all worth it cus I got to hang out with my Colleen, whom I hadn't seen in 3 yrs!

Best buds.

So I was on vacation in DC for the weekend, totally forgetting all responsibilities. For example: blogging, exercising, responding to emails, texts, facebook, and any other form of communication. Now back home, realizing I should probably say hello back to the world again.

Hello sweet summer.

I wanna shoot someone. Haha. No but really this pic is from the past weekend at my church retreat at Good Tidings in the catskills.

So here I'm shooting an AK-47.
